The Posies celebrate 30 years of making music in 2018, and coinciding with that we are re-releasing our classic 1990s albums “Dear 23”, “Frosting on the Beater” and “Amazing Disgrace and double CD/double LP sets. The CDs contain the original album and a full CD (and more) of bonus tracks, most of which have never been released — not even on our 2000 box set of outtakes. The Posies “Amazing Disgrace” lineup will be playing the Vertigo Festival in Martos (Jaen), Spain, held from August 1-2. More info (in Spanish) here.
Ken Stringfellow was interviewed by Sydney Unleashed ahead of his Australian tour next month, and had news regarding the first 4 Posies records:
For news, we will see over the next year the re-issue of the Posies first four albums with expanded content, quite a bit never before heard and that’s *after* we released a 4-CD box set of outtakes in 2000. We found even *more* stuff. Plus the albums will get remastered, pressed on vinyl, etc.
