Ken Stringfellow is the Swiss Army Knife of power pop. It was his first band, the Posies, that splashed him all over the hearts and minds of fans and bands alike. Soon thereafter we saw Ken on keyboard, guitar, and bass as a touring member of Big Star, the Minus Five, and R.E.M. Most recently, the Posies have released ‘Every Kind of Light’, and Big Star had Ken in the studio for ‘In Space’. We were thrilled to get such a thoughtul list from such a busy guy.
