a list one of Clay Aiken’s cfans wrote of all the things she’s done for him:
9. Telling little white lies about where I’m going and what I’m doing
14. Running out to buy and try anything Clay mentions regarding his favorite food
16. Bought 4 new shirts and they are all STRIPED
17. Adding a codicle to my will which defines the distribution of my CLACK
18. Bought a new CAR so I could make road trips without worry
19. Purchasing 2 new computers with large hard drives, one desktop and the other a laptop
23. Now I visit the Rolling Stone Magazine when I visit my granddaughter and sneak into her room to pet the pictures and peek at them through my magnifying glass
24. Even though I know someone else will CLACK it, I leave late for work or leave early for home if Clay is scheduled to appear on TV. I’ve even taken the day off if the appearance is during the day. I know I can tape it, but I’ve got to experience it ‘real time’
25. The only picture I have of Clay visible to the public is on a beauteous magnet that SHIIIINE presented to all the meers at our Northeast December 2004 gathering. It is nestled amongst my four granddaughters’ pictures on the refrigerator door
26. Upgraded my computer speakers so I could listen to CLAY in surround sound
27. Emptied several straw baskets so I could store over 100 CDs that I’ve burned with CLACK. I didn’t need those family pictures anyway
30. Held 3 tag sales so I could set aside the money for my Clay adventures without dipping into the kid’s inheritance
31. Bundled various printed CLACK into different folders each under a heading having to do with a Sociology Study of Internet Fandom. I don’t want anyone who finds it to think my interest was anything other than ACADEMIC :-)
35. Listen to nothing but Clay while driving. That includes all his music and all his interviews, which I listen to over and over and over again
36. Work from home on Fridays so I can organize CLACK
